Rough Justice

Redington Ltd

Band Members:

Dawid Konotey-Ahulu (Keyboards)
Dawid is Co-CEO of pensions investment consultancy Redington. His natural affinity for Motown classics has been steadily eroded by the band’s central philosophy of only playing blindingly loud hard rock. He now has posters of Noel Gallagher on his bedroom wall.

Marcus Taverner QC (Lead Guitar)
Marcus met up with a few mates a couple of years ago and bought a new guitar. Left handed lead guitarist with a penchant for long rambling riffs.

His proposal for using the entire slot for his guitar solo was - after a small scuffle and what he considered to be the unnecessary use of abusive language - vetoed, unanimously by the rest of the band. Marcus has, over many years, provided advice to pension funds on legal issues and further, advice to pension specialists on market perception, and on investment and use of pensions generally.

Charlie Arthur (Rhythm Guitar)
Following a short lived Rock n Roll career and an unfortunate incident with a TV, Ex-Death Metal guitarist, Charlie's life reached rock bottom. Thanks to Rough Justice he has finally found peace playing Rhythm Guitar. He loves taking a solo whenever Marcus lets him, which is hardly ever. Never mind Charlie, good things come to those who wait. Apparently.

Andy Taylor-Cummings (Bass Guitar)
Holding down the low end is bass man Andy TC. Andy's solid, rhythmic bass playing never waivers and is as tight as a ducks proverbial (nuff said). This can probably be attributed to an excessive number of years spent jamming along to a drum machine in his loft (poor fellow).

He has also dabbled with the Piano, Trumpet and Saxophone, but never figured out that they are not all meant to be played at the same time. He works for Redington, in the Technology Team.

Brian Mayoss (Drums)
On drums is rock solid veteran of far too many gigs. His impeccable timing keeps the band sounding tight at all times. Boy can he ROCK!!

Alicia Loxley (Vocals)
With a background in pensions recruitment & advertising, Alicia is thrilled to be gracing the stage at Pensions Rocks. She wishes to remind her fellow band members that the nursing home mini bus will be leaving at 9pm so please make sure someone pushes her on it....regardless of how many gins she’s had!

Juliet Arthur (Vocals)
Also on vocals is the inimitable Juliet. Her classical training can clearly be heard in her pitch perfect delivery and awesome vocals. BIG personality, BIG lungs, BIG …
Suffice it to say, Juliet won’t go un-noticed on stage.
Juliet organises events for individuals within the Pensions space.
